Copy a wallet

Goal: mirror a trader you trust, proportionally, with a wallet dedicated to the job.

Step 1 — Choose who to copy

Find a wallet whose trading you actually want: check its history on a Solana explorer — consistent size, real exits, not one lucky moonshot. Copy trading copies behavior, including the bad days.

Step 2 — Dedicate a wallet

Create a fresh wallet (e.g. “Copy — TraderX”) and fund it with the amount you’re willing to allocate to this strategy. A dedicated wallet keeps the copied PnL cleanly attributable.

Step 3 — Create the subscription

Web → Copy trade → New (or Telegram /copy-trade → create):

  1. Paste the target wallet address.
  2. Select your copy wallet.
  3. Choose sizing:
    • Percentage — e.g. 10% of whatever the target spends. Scales with their conviction; recommended.
    • Fixed SOL — same size per copy regardless of theirs.
  4. Enable Skip existing holdings so you don’t buy into positions they opened before you subscribed.
  5. Confirm — the subscription shows as active.

Step 4 — Let it run

  • Every mirrored buy/sell arrives as a Telegram notification.
  • The Copy trade page shows the subscription’s holdings and history; the wallet’s icon reflects the active state.
  • Sells mirror proportionally — their 50% exit is your 50% exit.

Step 5 — Manage it

  • Pause with the active toggle (keeps config, stops copying); resume any time.
  • Edit sizing whenever — takes effect from the next copy.
  • If a copy is skipped for insufficient SOL, it’s logged and the subscription stays active — top up the wallet.

You always trade after the target’s transaction lands, so your fill differs slightly from theirs — expect a spread, especially on fast movers.
